Webinar program with the Lebanese Society of Radiology 2024

Due to a close partnership between the SFR and the Lebanese Society of Radiology (SLR), a monthly webinar is organized on the first Saturday of each month.  

This partnership extends beyond Lebanon as the link to these webinars is shared with all societies in the Maghreb and French-speaking Africa, promoting knowledge exchange and sharing on a regional scale. 

During the first half of the year, these webinars attracted participation from over 250 radiologists in the Francophone community, demonstrating the significant impact of this collaborative initiative on continuous education and professional development for radiology practitioners in the region. 

The webinar topics during this first semester included: 

1. « Brain imaging and psychomotor delays in children », presented by Prof. Nadine Girard. 

2. « New classification of hepatic adenomas », presented by Prof. Alain Luciani. 

3. « Innovations in placental imaging and issues in obstetric ultrasound dating », discussed by Professors Eléonore Blondiaux and Marianne Alison. 

4. « Radiological monitoring of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) under treatment », presented by Prof. Thomas Tourdias. 

5. « O-RADS in Pelvic MRI », led by Prof. Isabelle Thomassin-Naggara. 

6. « Pelvic congestion syndrome », discussed by Prof. Pascal Chabrot. 

7. « MRI of cystic lesions in the sellar region» by Prof. Fabrice Bonneville 

These topics underscore the commitment of SFR and SLR to providing continuous and updated education through their collaborations, benefiting radiology professionals in the region and beyond.
